This season I was inspired by a
wedding I did at the exclusive private
dining rooms of Canoe restaurant.
The bride and I want to create table
arrangements that truly looked like
they belonged in the room instead of
recreating the room; we wanted
sublime elegance.
I designed a vase that reflected the
Canadian upscale theme of Canoe;
using small stones in rich earth
neutrals and high polished glass. It's
a heavy, substantial understated ball
of glass and stone.
For this wedding my Ball of Stone
vase was filled with more than six
dozen mini ivory calla lilies, accented
with mini orchids and palm fronds.

believe I have created what I wanted for this season, using my favorite
